1. There is a human face on the moon
Not really human face. According to NASA, what we see from Earth and what looks like the face of a man is actually a bunch of bays that are filled with dark basaltic rocks.
2. Twelve humans walked on the lunar surface.
Neil Armstrong was the first (1969). After him we have Buzz Aldrin, and Alan Bean from Apollo 12. The interesting facts from the mission: Lightning has struck a rocked two times after the rocket launch, also there was a temporary power failure.
3. Moon heats up and cools down much more than the Earth
It may be heated up to 126 degrees Celsius and is cooled to -170 degrees Celsius. Since the Moon has no air around, it is prone to temperature extremes.

A complete turn takes 27 days, but two days – a total of 29.5 – is the transition from one new moon to the next.
