Creative park with furniture from trees
During the next hurricane that covered the Brazilian Atlantic coast, was felled more than 1,700 trees in the precincts of Sao Paulo. The municipal authorities appealed to artists and artisans for help in finding ideas. Brazilian craftsman named Hugo Franca, decided to find a useful application in such trees. The decision proved to be very relevant to the urban environment of one of the world’s largest cities. He began to create them from the so-called park furniture: benches, sculptures, elements of playgrounds and much more.
