Unusual friends of Matteo Valcha
Alpine marmots are very shy and at the sight of the people they are trying to knock with teeth and whistles to warn relatives of approaching danger. But when coming an ordinary boy Matteo Valcha they do not try to run away, but instead run they play with him and get sweets. Every year, the boy’s family comes for two weeks in Grosloker, Austrian Alps, where these unusual friends of this boy are waiting for him.
When Matteo comes to the marmots, they surround him, allow to be stroked and fed and even try to play with them. These pictures managed to make 46-year-old Michaela, a Matteo school teacher from Innsbruck.
